As the title of this box set suggests this is a collection of laid back Reggae tunes, mainly from the 1970s, but with a few Rocksteady tracks from the late 1960s and one (Frankie Paul's "Shub In") from 1986.

Expect lots of cool jazzy instrumentals, Reggae remakes of US Soul hits, gently chugging Rocksteady and the Frankie Paul track.

One highlight on here for me is the Marcia Griffiths take on Ewan MacColl's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", where she certainly gives Roberta Flack a run for her money.
