Darbs2 15th Sep 2023		Thanks Gregs45s. This album has not been reissued. The 2023 albums are 10 studio albums, from Sticky onwards. Just wanted clarity. Will add as International.



gregs45s SUBS 15th Sep 2023		Hi Darbs2 There is no entry on Discogs yet for the 2023 reissue of this album, but, there is an entry for the 2023 Sticky Fingers "K" release here, and that has been added as "Worldwide", so i would say that probably all 2023 reissues will be added as "International" on this site if they too are a Global release. cheers Greg



Darbs2 15th Sep 2023		Hi Magic Marmalade , The release date of the Japan only entry as entered by Kei Masaru UICY-78939 is 22.05.2019. ( I cannot change year from 2020 ) Will all 5 entries from UICY- 78937K - 78941K be classed as International? As Leonard pointed out on Spanish Sticky Fingers UICY-78937K without the OBI they are to all intent and purpose Japanese issues as disc labels do not have the K added to Cat number. Whereas the July 2023 UK Japanese made SHM CDs ( set of 10 ) do have the correct release date OBIs and K added to cat printed on label, so these would be UK / International issues. When I get around to adding to site presume list as International?

These details - barcode - release date etc. can be added there by going to our old friend: "Add Missing Info". This new entry is linked below, and this one here has been (provisionally) changed to International.



Darbs2 14th Sep 2023		Hi Greg Agreed , both released on different dates. Confusion arose around the OBIs on the 4th Dec 2020 release which show the 2019 release date and not the 2020 .



gregs45s SUBS 14th Sep 2023		Looking at both entries on Discogs, they appear to be released on different dates... The release that both you and kei have added a scan each is this one without the "K" on either Disc/artwork/OBI, and with barcode 4988031334423, which appears to be issued on 22 may 2019?, and the original entry with the Cat No's UICY-78939K / UICY-78939 and with the barcode 600753872956 ,appears to be this one issued on 4 Dec 2020?, so, in my book, they are different, and will require another entry to move the two images over to.



gregs45s SUBS 14th Sep 2023		Hi Darbs2, yes, CD's are a pain in the whatsit;) I would play safe and stick to the guidelines i have mentioned, as, in 99% of cases, a different OBI with either a different Cat No or barcode (especially) indicate a different release, most likely and very often, annoyingly, the same artwork is used and just the OBI changes, or, the same booklet is used and the rear tray artwork differs in some way. In pretty much all cases though, it indicates a seperate release, usually at a different time (before or after), so, in this particular case i would play safe and create a separate entry as, altough the Cat No's/artwork are similar, they differ ("k" no "k"), and the barcode differs, so, it's essentially a different product, released at a different time and / or, to a different market. It is easier if unsure to create a separate entry, as, later down the line it would be simple to merge them if deemed to be the same release by the Moderators Good fun these CD's :)



Darbs2 14th Sep 2023		Hi Gregs45s Sorry , didn't spot your comment when responding to Kei. As I commented to Kei , everything disc , sleeve and Cat number on disc is the same , only the info on the OBI is different , so surely this points to this release ( + 4 others in this series) being same release but for a different market , hence OBI differences. My question being , rather than repress discs Polydor/Universal simply changed OBI ? All very confusing ! But add to that July 2023 UK issues on SHM-CD the discs do have K on cat number on disc and OBI which points to Export discs- I'm confused.



Darbs2 14th Sep 2023		Hi Kei So essentially, the Sleeve , disc , Cat number on disc are exactly the same. Only difference is the OBI with different Barcode and as Leonard states without OBI these releases ( 2019 and 2020 ) are the same , as " K " is not on disc Only the OBI.



gregs45s SUBS 14th Sep 2023		@kei masaru, @Darbs2 Hi Just to let you know that additional images can only be added to an existing entry if the label/barcode/Cat No. are EXACTLY the same, if any of these thre differ, even by one number or letter, then a separate entry should be created, here, it looks like either the barcode and Cat No. differ from the original entry?, if the Cat No. for the original entry was UICY-78939K then UICY-78939 should be added as a secondary Cat as it's on the CD, if kei's copy is the same, with both Cat No's then it should be added here, but if kei's barcode is the same as the image added by Darbs2, then a seperate entry will be required as it's a different barcode, therefore, a different release hope that makes sense;)

I can't obtain information for export issue,so please compare. Release date in Japan is on 22nd May 2019. (Already written as leonard at Sticky Fingers - Spanish version).

Darbs2 13th Sep 2023		Got the set of 5 UICY- 78937K - 78941K on Pre-Order HMV UK, they were delivered 5th December 2020 day after UK release. Did the Original Japan releases have a K after Cat number ?



kei masaru 13th Sep 2023		I got this CD from Amazon Japan in October 2021. As I saw above 6 images (from #3373779 to #3373784),only barcode is different. Barcode of my CD is '4988031334423'.
