CD Album
Notes Produced, recorded and mixed by Peter Walsh. Co-produced by Gilbert O'Sullivan. From the 32-page colour booklet: 'The concept for the album is based on my love of two albums Peggy Lee made in 1960, Latin Ala Lee and Ole Ala Lee. And while I regard Peggy, along with Ella Fitzgerald, as the greatest female interpreter of song, my love of Latin stretches right back to that period of Brazilian music gaining world-wide popularity with the emergence of artists from Astrud Gilberto to Sergio Mendes. The fact I write, for no want of a better word, 'pop' songs, it's nice to compose them in a Latin style and record them with some of Spain's finest musicians. As a homage to Peggy, we've recreated the cover of her Latin Ala Lee album as Latin Ala G.' Images ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments and Reviews
