This nifty compilation consists of a selection of 8 tracks from New Jersey based "Movin' Records" recorded in the late-1980s/early-1990s and could be regarded as a "Best-Of/Sampler" release.

The label specialised in House/Garage music (being from New Jersey the term "Garage" would generally be used) and given the hype surrounding the genre in early 1990s Britain it is surprising that nowhere in the packaging is either term used.

Favourite track of mine on here is Guy Costley's "Somebody Here", which is essentially a Gospel song recorded over a rippling Garage rhythm. ....
