PhilMH 16th Jul 2014		It probably doesn't matter which way it is entered, because if you search for Legacy using the labels option, it will bring up everything that has it as part of the name; ditto if you searched for Epic, it would bring up Epic / Legacy, EpicAssociated, whatever. As long as both label names are entered, then it should be fine. The only thing I'm unsure about at this point (because I'm not at home to check) is whether or not there should be spaces before and after the slash, but that might only be a very minor consideration.

PhilMH 16th Jul 2014		My experience of these is that Sony always show them on the spines as Epic/Legacy, Columbia/Legacy or RCA/Legacy, as the case may be, so even they seem to be making Legacy secondary, notwithstanding the catalogue or the website.



nboldock 15th Jul 2014		I have been toying with sorting out "Epic/Legacy" and similar ones which aren't really labels but haven't built up enough energy yet :-) I'm not convinced Legacy is ALWAYS the primary label but am open to persuasion.



leonard 15th Jul 2014		Label really should be Legacy / Epic Associated. For consistency I entered this as Epic / Legacy. For the database it maybe would be better if we submit all Legacy releases as just Legacy. All releases would be together as they should be: in the booklet it says "For a pocket-sized catalog of all Legacy releases please send a postcard to Legacy - R&S, Radio City Station, PO Box 1526, New York".
