Break-In Master 17th Jul 2018		CD Album Prince - Sound & Vision 6 TV Appearances 2001	It doesn't list a country of origin, but I'm pretty sure it's not America. Each of the CD's has the letters "ACUM" in a box. Whoever laid out the booklet in the print shop where it was printed didn't know what they were doing. At least 4 of the pages were in the wrong order. There are actually 3 CD's in this set, but the third one is just another copy of disc 1, but it has "Remastered" printed under the title and the CD designation number on it is SAB 298b, whereas the number on disc 1 doesn't have an a or b. Nearest I can tell, both are the exact same thing except that the b version starts a few seconds sooner than the non-b version, which has a few seconds of dead air before it starts. I don't know if this is a bootleg. The back cover shows pictures of the covers of the first 5 CD's in the series. Also, the back cover only lists titles for two CD's.

Break-In Master 16th Jul 2018		CD Album Prince - Crystal Ball (1998)	Some had 5 discs, the 5th being a soundtrack to a play called, "Kama Sutra". Some copies of the album were released in ordinary multi-disc CD cases, I think those were the 3-CD sets without "The Truth" or "Kama Sutra", maybe it WAS the 4-CD set without "Kama Sutra". I have yet to see one with "Kama Sutra". Limited editions of the album also came with a free t-shirt.

Break-In Master 7th Jun 2018		CD Album Tangerine Dream - The Electronic Magic Of Tangerine Dream The Anthology (2008)	Comes in a black cardboard box and includes a small Tangerine Dream button with the same picture as on the front cover and a sticker, also with the same picture. Inside the box, the CD's are each in their own paper gatefold picture sleeve and each is inside its own clear poly bag. The button is just slightly larger than a quarter. The sticker is roughly 2.5 x 4.5 inches. The box is about .25 inches bigger than an ordinary CD case and about half an inch deep. The first two songs were the only songs recorded by Edgar Froese's band, The Ones, before he started Tangerine Dream.
Break-In Master 4th Jun 2018		CD Album Dickie Goodman - Greatest Fables (1997)	"Return Of The Flying Saucer" is actually Dickie's son, Jon Goodman. "Congressional Medal Of Honor" is Dickie's with, Jon's mother, Susan Goodman (nee Smith), but Dickie starts the song off by reciting a short piece. Jon sent me a copy of the second album with at least one more new break-in he did, but I'm not sure if he ever released the album. He sent me a home made cassette copy. The new break-in on this album was called, "The Ex-Files". It was basically my payment for writing the huge list of all the records used on all of Dickie's records in his book, "Dickie Goodman: King Of Novelty". I got that and a CD of a recording of Dickie doing a phone interview with a radio jock, Wayne King (I think that was his last name). Jon did another break-in called, "Mouthwatergate" (about Bill Clinton's sex-capades), but I'm not sure if it was also on that second album or if there was a third album. He's done a few other break-ins since then, but, most of them tend to rely heavily on re-workings of his dad's records, rather than coming up with new material. There's been a number of albums of Dickie's stuff released over the past 20 years, but, it's rather pointless to buy them if you have these first two because they all contain different running orders of the same material! How many times do we have to pay for the same material just to get one or two bits that aren't on each of the other albums?

Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Orgship (1994)	Review This album is GREAT to listen to at night with all (or most) of the lights out, especially in bed with someone you love, as long as they like this kind of stuff, too! There IS one track I tend to skip, though. Not because it's a bad track, the whole album is great. It's just that, the first two tracks spend nearly 20:00 getting you onto a nice mellow mood, then the third track starts with this loud alarm sound buzzing away for the first few moments and RIPS you right out of that mood!! "Requiem" is a REALLY nice minor key piece! If you're into minor key stuff, this might even induce a tear from your eye! It's not sad, it's just done in such a way that it's quite strong, emotionally. "The Belle Of Atlantis" has a really cool bass line to it that keeps switching back & forth. At the end of one line, there'll be two notes played one right after the other, at the end of the next line, you hear both notes played as one, at the end of the next line, those two notes are played separately again, but this time, there's a wider space between them and they're played off the beat! "Singtree" is probably the most mellow piece on the album! One thing that helps make it that way is the sound. I don't think there is any tape hiss on it, but sure sounds like there's a lot! Also, although there's not much deep bass on it, it CAN shake things a bit. And that's from one of the much higher droning notes! SPOILER ALERT! Don't read this next bit if you want to just experience the album for yourself and be surprised, but, "Liquid Sky" has two parts in it where it sounds like the tape it's recorded on slips partway off the heads! After a few bars, it goes back to normal. They had 8:15 left on the CD, I wish they would've filled them! 4 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Sola Luna (2008)	Review It's a good album. I like it, but, it's not quite as good as their "Orgship" album. For me, there's something missing. It just doesn't have the feeling the first album did. It's really nice to listen to, but, because of what's missing, it makes it kind of annoying to listen to. For me, anyway. Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Sola Luna (2008)	This album is laid out kinda like Indian classical music: Morning ragas should only be played in the morning, afternoon ragas should only be played in the afternoon, etc.. In as such, the CD titled, "Sola" should only be played in the daytime and the CD titled, "Luna" should only be listened to at night.
