It should be noted that all three of the CDs featured in this promo set were commercially released as solo efforts on their own as follows: 544 535-2 Patsy Cline The Essential Collection [Bar Code 731454453523] Date: 2001 551 822-2 Connie Francis: The Collection [Bar Code 731455182224] Date: 1996 MCBD 19518 The Best Of Brenda Lee [Bar Code 0008811951825] Date: 1995 I have included relevant scans of all three releases here as the package in its entirety serves as an integral part of Connie's world-wide catalog of releases.
confranfan SUBS 14th Nov 2015		CD Album Connie Francis - Connie Francis 24 Greatest Hits (1990)	This CD was released in two (2) slightly amended editions. The front cover & inlay sleeve are identical in nature as is the compilation of songs with both editions. There are, however, slight amendments to the following: - Back cover insert to Jewel Case - Compact Disc - two slightly different bar codes: Edition 'A' : 5014293629126 Edition 'B': 5014293639125 Because these differences are not major, I have not listed them as two separate entries in her catalog of CDs. The slight differences outlined above have been scanned for the viewer.

It should be noted that the three (3) CDs included in this box set were also released as individual/solo CDs as follows: CD1 = 549 332-2 Connie Francis Lipstick On Your Collar CD2 = 589 632-2 Connie Francis Heartaches By The Number CD3 = 554 758-2 Connie Francis Love Me Tender I have not listed these 3 CDs as separate entries to avoid too much repetition. There is clearly no difference between the 3 CDs showcased herewith and those that were distributed as solo releases separate, from each other.

To date, only the first two (2) volumes have been uncovered by this collector. The third volume, although portrayed on the back of the 2 volumes scanned, has never been located. It is doubtful that it was ever released with no known explanation as to why.

The name Connie Francis is misspelled on one of the covers as "Conny". The catalog number; compilation; and disc are all identical with both releases.

These 3 individual CDs have also been scanned for viewing. As the song compilations; artwork; etc. are identical to those included in this 3-CD boxed set I have not scanned them here. They can be viewed as aforementioned under the following catalog numbers in the EUROPE section of her catalog. Notably would be: CeDe International CD 66061; CeDe International CD 66125; CeDe International CD 66135.

confranfan SUBS 17th Sep 2015		CD Album Connie Francis - Connie Francis 20 All Time Greats	The enormous popularity of this release (primarily in the UK circa 1977) saw with it releases from many geographic origins, Canada not withstanding. With this in mind, Canada saw fit to release this as a traditional PolyGram release; coupled with both the Canadian BMG and Columbia Record Club formats that were both prevalent at the time. To date, the only CDs released to faithfully reproduce the success of the vinyl LP were released from Canada. It is the vinyl version of this release that saw enormous, global popularity.
