"Laugh, Laugh" and "Valleri" are the versions with cold endings. "Journey To The Center Of The Mind" has a 2-beat drumstick count-off. Produced for Compact Disc by Bill Inglot.

The 2nd album, 1959's "More of Tom Lehrer" is presented in Mono here, even though it was recorded in true Stereo on 08 July 1959.

edlongus SUBS 30th May 2022		CD Album Various Artists - The Motown Box (2005)	Release date, cover scans, CD scans and booklet scans added. Overall, a nice box set. Could have been a bit better: On The Miracles' "Going To A Go-Go", the background vocals seem out-of-synch with the rest of the mix. On the remix of Brenda Holloway's "Just Look What You've Done", the background vocals are barely there at all. On Martha and The Vandellas' "Jimmy Mack", the hand claps are gone (why?!?). There are many remixes where the fades are noticeably longer than the original hit version (a real treat!!), yet Stevie Wonder's "Fingertips" is Part 2 only. This set covers the hits of the 1960s, so no Jackson 5. Lastly, Disc 4 is stingy/short, only 12 songs - surely they could have added some more Velvelettes, Shorty Long or somebody 2 Disc 4?!? Still, a nice set 2 have 4 classic Motown fans!! [YouTube Video]
