GEMSMFAN 14th Nov 2014		CD Album Various Artists - Two If By Sea: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1996)	in reference to image 585149, true color this is not... this and the other images are heavily processed.. way too contrasty... the faces are not natural... this is NOT the colors, if you simply just scan the image without doing any altering. if nothing was done... then your scanner is set to "auto". "True Color" "Sharper".. don't improve images because you think they look better. "blurry" doesn't need to be "sharp", if it was released "blurry".

GEMSMFAN 3rd Nov 2014		CD Album ABBA - Super Trouper (1989)	I just noticed another thing and that is in the bar coding. this release could have used the catalog number 81477 2 or 7 81477-2 (note this number in the bar code)... the CD's in 1989 that either have a catalog number like that or in the bar code start with 819, not 814 (814, 815 were around 1985-6). Please check the Atlantic label page to see and compare what I'm talking about Also, please check Discogs Atlantic label page 33 as 81477 2 isn't available because no CD was issued with that number... if it had it would be in 1986.. instead the 1980 number (used on the LP and cassette) was used on the CD.

I'm just curious... because by 1989 Polar was sold to Polydor and ABBA were NOT on Atlantic anymore. In 1989, the ABBA releases were international on Polydor which made every ABBA album available all over, including Ring Ring, which was never released in the U.S. before 1989. 1986 what I submitted makes more sense as it was around then that Atlantic switched pressing by PolyGram in West Germany to a the U.S. by their own WEA Manufacturing Inc.. I provided a website which reviewed all the early ABBA pressings (Mar. 27 comment link).

Warner Bros., Elektra/Asylum, Atlantic labels released these and they were manufactured either in Japan or West Germany. Supposedly, I read the different colors indicated different music genres.

GEMSMFAN 12th Oct 2014		CD Album Stray Cats - Built For Speed (1986)	this is a first pressing and probably the only one US of this album, on CD. It's not a CD re-issue. Music is added to new media (formats), but that doesn't make them reissues, unless they are deleted and issued again. I'll bet it's OOP status will fetch high prices for sellers, say on eBay. This actually is a compilation consisting of tracks from the two UK Arista albums, "Stray Cats" and "Gonna Ball", except for "Built For Speed" the title track.
