gregs45s SUBS ● 5th Jun 2022		CD Album Roy Harper - Legend	A curious one, i did not expect to find Roy on the budget label Tring, also, it states on back that some of the tracks are re-recorded?, although, i thought this was a straight copy of "Sophisticated Beggar" the 1967 album. (I will link the album to Sophisticted Beggar using "See Also" as the album title is different) (with hindsight, i suppose at least one of the tracks must have been re-recorded, otherwise i presume they would not have been able to re-title the album)

gregs45s SUBS ● 30th May 2022		CD Album Various Artists - Titanic (1998)	I'm from Southampton and the sinking had a devastating affect on local people.. "Worst hit areas of the city included Chapel, Northam, St Mary’s and Shirley where many of the “below deck” crewmen resided. In one Northam school, 120 of the 240 pupils lost their father." There is a fine memorial to the Engineers in East Park, and wreaths are regularly left to this day.

gregs45s SUBS ● 28th May 2022		CD Album A Place To Bury Strangers - Pinned (2018)	There are two CD versions of this album, the single Disc DOC138, and the double Disc DOC 138 /168, it appears that they also shipped the single Disc in the double Disc artwork, which is what has happened here as i bought this new/sealed.

gregs45s SUBS ● 24th May 2022		CD Album Various Artists - Transformers (2007)	My first entry using a new computer and scanner. Up until now i,ve been using a 20 year old computer, which was still using Windows XP!, i was using Paint and Paint.net for the images, (had to put coal in a shute on the side for power;), and, as you can imagine, was getting to be REALLY slow, and not showing all of web sites pages/buttons, so it's been a challenge to keep up/use. But now, wow!, superfast! , and the scanner automatically crops images to borders, Yipee! (this does not mean that entries will suddenly increase however as the operator is still old and knackered:)

Along with Philae, its lander module, Rosetta performed a detailed study of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko (67P).[8][9] During its journey to the comet, the spacecraft performed flybys of Earth, Mars, and the asteroids 21 Lutetia and 2867 Šteins.[10][11][12] It was launched as the third cornerstone mission of the ESA's Horizon 2000 programme, after SOHO / Cluster and XMM-Newton. On 6 August 2014, the spacecraft reached the comet and performed a series of manoeuvres to eventually orbit the comet at distances of 30 to 10 kilometres (19 to 6 mi).[13] On 12 November, its lander module Philae performed the first successful landing on a comet,[14] though its battery power ran out two days later.[15] Communications with Philae were briefly restored in June and July 2015, but due to diminishing solar power, Rosetta's communications module with the lander was turned off on 27 July 2016.[16] On 30 September 2016, the Rosetta spacecraft ended its mission by hard-landing on the comet in its Ma'at region.[17][18] The probe was named after the Rosetta Stone, a stele of Egyptian origin featuring a decree in three scripts. The lander was named after the Philae obelisk, which bears a bilingual Greek and Egyptian hieroglyphic inscription. " Didn't go quite to plan as i remember, still a remarkable achievement and a great milestone in space exploration.

Also, i looked all over and cannot see a Cat.No.(unless it's in Greek of course, in which case, can anyone translate), so, i've gone for No.1.

gregs45s SUBS ● 21st May 2022		CD Album Belly - Star (2003)	This is the first CD i've come across (although i don't generally check the matrix) with an actual date in the matrix, it's in very small text (the same size as the IFPI code) and reads 09/26/03, but i have not added the day and the month as i am unsure whether this is the release date, or, more likely perhaps, the pressing date, so have just gone with 2003 for now. (I've added a scan of the matrix, but it's so tiny it is illegible, but it reads...IFPI L039 09/26/03 15:19:13 )
