"When, in five years, this remarkable achievement in the advancement of fidelity is obsolete and unplayable on any "modern" equipment, remember: in 1971, the 8-track tape was the state of the art." :)

"The female Nirvana" perhaps, although they are/were probably real tired of hearing that, they traveled to England and opened for Nirvana on several dates in 1990, but, as with a lot of female groups of the time, went under the radar. "After all, in all its maleness, grunge absolutely had a female problem. (The more sensitive Kurt Cobain famously remarked of the scene, “Because I couldn’t find any male friends I felt compatible with, I ended up hanging out with girls a lot.” But that was Kurt.)" one to keep an eye out for.
