Juke Jules SUBS 10th Aug 2016		CD Album Peggy Lee - Moon Flowers: The Collection: 1952-54 (2007)	Call me cynical but the 'out of copyright' era for Peggy Lee seems to coincide with the period when she had 'superstar' status and was making a lot of formulaic records, but many of these tracks show her as good as she ever was. I don't suppose any of these were made with Benny Goodman, with whom she had honed her performance skills, but the arrangements clearly had some of the best session players of the day. I'd love to hear the title track in full, but it's not on YouTube. However, click the 'Search on Amazon' link above and you can listen to a sample of every track, and Moon Flowers is one of the best. I've Got You Under My Skin is another such, and this video is the right version for this album [YouTube Video]
