Juke Jules SUBS 2nd Jan 2022		CD Album Bryn Haworth - Ready Or Not (2021)	This 2021 album is dedicated to Dave Markee and Gordon Haskell. It's lovely to see Bryn working with other Contemporary Christian musicians; I know and love the work of Mal Pope and Chris Stainton. The tracks are mostly straight-ahead rock, with the last two having an overtly religious meaning. It is always lovely to hear Bryn playing the Dobro in his gentle way, and my favourite track here is Doxology: the title is often used for the closing prayer in a Service and means "Speaking of Glory". The tune is borrowed freely from "The Old Hundredth" (Psalm 100) and is familiar today as the hymn tune "All People That On Earth Do Dwell" [YouTube Video]
