Lee Wrecker 15th Mar 2016		CD Album Susumu Yokota - Mother (2009)	Jasper, Disky are a tricky label to deal with as some were sold here as imports and some were made in Australia. So on the site some Disky releases are listed as from the Netherlands, some from Europe and some from Australia. So from our perspective in Australia they can be difficult to place. What is good about Disky though is that there are often clues on the actual CD that will help determine the correct country or region to use. If you have time just check out the listings for the label in CD World and that may help you out.
Lee Wrecker 15th Mar 2016		CD Album Susumu Yokota - Mother (2009)	Yes, you're right Jasper - no ZZ Top, no Warren Zevon save for REM's lost weekend with him as the Hindu Love Gods, No George Zamifir, Zoot but only on 7" singles and the same for Zager and Evans where I have the 45 of In The Year 2525 and it appears on at least one compilation I own. So no Jasper none of the above to list here as such. I've got new stuff on the horizon and yesterday "The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend" arrived on vinyl which is great. I presume you'll have a copy this somewhere Roger but if you don't, look it up. Roger, I wouldn't panic about the "Great 45 Worlds Race" as I'm nearly up maintenance, editing pics and generally sticking my beak in where it's probably not wanted or needed. So once I'm clear of the 3 cassette tapes I own and a dozen or so DVDs - I'll be done. The lofty heights of the 1400s in the points table will be yours alone Roger. I reckon it will probably take me a year to score 100 points from now on. I did try and sneak up and give you a bit of a scare though. Wh aaww...aaww..aaaahhhhh!

Lee Wrecker 9th Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Number 8 Wire: 16 Trippy New Zealand Nuggets 1967-69 (2012)	The Green Tiki God of 60's psychedelic compilations. Much more interesting and varied song choices than its Australian equivalent "Down Under Nuggets" Apparently, according to Discogs, this is an unofficial release.

Lee Wrecker 8th Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Good Morning Saigon 2 (1993)	I'd already put in a correction for Jan And Dean but thanks for straightening out the date. Strangely four songs missing from this compared to the European 24 track edition. Never mind, this is not a good CD. The versions here are poor sounding versions of the songs and quite often not even the original recordings.

Lee Wrecker 7th Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - The Ultimate Sun Rockabilly Collection (1991)	Phil this one and the "Memphis Rock 'N' Roll"" Disky comps I have added pics to were bought at the time of release or at least both by 1994. So it looks like they're imports and most likely too as these were very early Disky releases in Australia. As you say later on it was open slather.

Their CDs were always freely available in Australia but the finer detail on just how they were released I'm not sure on? Have any Aussie MODS or 45Worlder's got any advice on this label's distribution details in Australia?

Lee Wrecker 4th Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Groove Hip-hop (1998)	Looks to be an odd release in that it seems to be an Australian only Blue Note Records release. I haven't come across another listing of this CD anywhere on the net as yet so it's a bit of an unusual one.

I'd like to see it Internationalized but I fear no other country would willingly associate with such a "Strine" piece of work. So I would predict no chance of this one going OS.

So many thanks to the MOD that did this one almost immediately. It all looks 100% to me Roger but could you have a quick look to see if it all the way it should be. Thanks to all involved for a speedy recovery on this one.

Lee Wrecker 3rd Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Country Songs For The Aussie Bloke (2001)	Struth Jasper not one Strayan country song for the Aussie country bloke "and that's no crap". Who'd believe that the cultural cringe would obliterate Aussies from such a patriotic looking album. Nice to see the cover shot is of the living quarters I've got set up Magic Marmalade and his workers when they come over to start up 45SweatShops. So at least there won't be any surprises on that score when they get here.

However, this was made in Belgium, printed in Holland and my copy was bought in Australia and it has a listing on australian-charts.com @ http://australian-charts.com/showitem.asp?titel=Roots+Of+DooWop&cat=a so the question is should this really be listed as a Netherlands release or International? Whatever the answer is is it should also apply to the entire Roots label catalogue listed on the site.

Lee Wrecker 3rd Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - More Adventures Of FunkSoul Sisters (2005)	Sorry about that Roger but I did search for "More Adventures Of Funk Soul Sisters" as it is written on the spine but you have entered yours as "More Adventures Of FunkSoul Sisters" as it appears on the CD and cover. I'll send a note to Mods to unscramble these eggs thanks for letting me know we've doubled up. Unfortunately though, not in laughter but I hope none of the Mods have an understanding wife and a secretary like the one in this song. Nothing would ever get done, well except you know... Correction sent Roger and out.

The other one Soul Deep should be around the same time being only 9 numbers further down through the cat#s. It's very hard to find anything on these Concept albums on line for some reason.

Lee Wrecker 3rd Mar 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Mommas Of The Blues	A strange release it comes in a hard box that contains a drawer with "atmospheric incense & brass holder". I think it was a novelty gift item from Dynamo House in Melbourne and most likely the songs were pilfered out of copyright. There is no date of release, composer credits or even a cat# anywhere on the CD or packaging. However, regardless of all that oddness it is a great collection of original mono recordings from the great female blues singers of the 1923-1939 era.

I'm not sure whether either of these made the charts over here but Phil would know that or be able to find out. I'm going to post some weird Australian only Soul compilations soon. So look out for them, they're weird in that the song selections are quite bizarre in some cases. One is a 60's and 70's US soul comp with a live version of the Style Council's "Money-Go-round" inexplicably tacked on the end. Another has J.J. Cale and Santana chucked into the mix. Anyway you'll see soon enough. Thanks for posting Cyril's "Tell" song for comparison.
