lodekka 29th Nov 2023		CD Album Golden Earring - The Devil Made Us Do It (35 Years) (2000)	My full introduction to Golden Earring was listening to this on the in-flight entertainment flying from Amsterdam to New York on KLM. The only thing I had heard by them up until this was the hit single 'Radar Love' and it's follow up 'Instant Poetry'. Picked up the 2-disc set quite easily but took a little longer to get the 4-disc set. I can also recommend the accompanying 35 Years - 27 clips DVD issued in 2002 featuring all their big hits from 1966 to 1999. Managed to catch them live at Ipswich Regent Theatre in 2009 when they played the first UK dates for over 30 years and was not disappointed even though they based their set around the 'Moontan' album era being what sold best over here. Can't be many groups that have kept the same line up for over 50 years, from 1970 until they sadly called it a day in 2021 due to ill health.

'But Seriously' Cat no. CDV 2620, Barcode 0077778632825, disc made in EU.
