plocky45 SUBS 3rd Nov 2017		CD Album Big Country - The Crossing	Looks like all early editions had the same cat.no and bar code. 1983 fits in with the cat.no. sequence and although it looks early for a CD, there are other Mercury CDs on the site for this year. This is a tired copy, so images of better copies are welcome.

Records were used variously, but I'm not sure whether or not there is any chronological pattern. I can't find any record of E'G as a label/sub label name and I would plump for this simply being a graphical styllstic.

Powerhouse and Live in London were standard 70s issue live albums, and Nobody's Perfect and Come Hell or High Water is reunion stuff. The sections that particularly interest me here are the tracks from Scandinavian Nights, an album not available at the time but which has earned a strong reputation latterly. Also On The Wings of A Giant Foxbat, which was originally a well-known bootleg and I've still to hear.

I think FM is the label name for FM Revolver Records Ltd, but I'm not at all sure. I'll dig out the CD and see if the spines and insert give any more information.

I would guess that the vast majority of 'newspaper CDs' have been entered as standard cd albums. Click on say Daily Mail as an example. I think I initially submitted these CDs as promos, but a comment was made that they differed from most promos in that money was paid for the newspaper/magazine that issued the CD; thereafter I subsequently added these as CD albums. Either way, if a policy is confirmed, there could be 100s of entries to tidy up.

plocky45 SUBS 1st May 2017		CD Album Oasis - Be Here Now (1997)	For the UK, the labels used for Oasis releases are normally Creation or Big Brother, with Helter Skelter being used for Europe (or even wider afield). All other Oasis CD albums and singles on the site on Helter Skelter are listed under Europe. Suggest this is changed to 'Europe'.

Although the European version has the additional cat. no. CDESTU 2161 on the rear cover, it is not known whether this also appears on the US release.
