(2004)	the medleys are each listed on the rear insert/inlay as one track, so the official 45worlds count of tracks differs from this. the booklet track-listing gives the first track on disc one as a medley of "when the lights go on again (all over the world)" - so both 45world's listing and the rear insert/inlay listings differ from this.

ppint. 28th Nov 2016		CD Album Various Artists - Disneyboy (2008)	juke jules: yes, indeed; and whilst yr hmbl srppnt.'d always advise, "read the book first" if a book's been filmed, it's not a bad disneycartoon version at all - well worth keeping the vhs of it, or even picking up a cheapo s/h dvd.

ppint. 20th Nov 2016		CD Album Syd Barrett - Barrett (2010)	despite the misleadingly unemended dates, these scans show warner's parlophone group reissue of ~2014, not the earlier emi records/emi ltd. release, and are wearing the harvest records label-inspired drag as an appeal to the nostalgia of aging hippies, as the rights to the harvest label remained/went with the capitol record group into the universal music megacorpses' maw.
ppint. 20th Nov 2016		CD Album Gladys Knight And The Pips - The Christmas Album (1997)	songs listed as tracks 9 & 10 = track 9, but not stated to be a medley (unlike track 8); so song numbered track 11 = track 10. the 1975 (p) date is presumably that of the merkin buddah label lp, "bless this house", but this is not as yet on 45worlds - save in the french disques vogue/buddah release whose track-listing seems somewhat confused. there are no eu - nor any other - price codes on the front or rear inserts.
ppint. 11th Nov 2016		CD Album Neil Young - Neil Young (1987)	yes, incorrect images for this item, which is pretty clearly described; once yr hmbl srppnt.'s worked out how to upload images from micro-sd chimp from camera - taken at lowest res?, yes? - using android-os'd tablettything, any & all constructive advice on going about this welcome, i'll start putting the right images up. slowed down somewhat by frozen fingers, plus the minor detail of brain damage & consequent post-traumatic injury tendency to depression - but what the hell...
ppint. 10th Nov 2016		CD Album Joni Mitchell - Transmission Impossible (2015)	probably merkin, mayn't be fully legitimate, may be "international" (?); "transmission impossible" is either a title much-used by whomever is behind "eat to the beat" cds, or else both that and the name of a series of the same, recordings broadcast over (? mostly?) merkin radio stations.
ppint. 10th Nov 2016		CD Album Buffy Sainte-Marie - Best Of The Vanguard Years (2004)	the pat sky from the notes, track 11, is singer-songwriter patrick sky, who also recorded for the vanguard recording society, inc, and whose early encouragement buffy sainte-marie appreciated, iiuc. the original vanguard records' lp cat#s are given as noted on the package inserts: they exclude the vanguard recording society's "VSD-" prefix (for stereo lps) and, more understandably, omit entirely the mono cat#s which were VRS-(numerical part of stereo cat# excluding the initial "7"); i.e. the original cat#s of her 1965 lp, "many a mile", were VRS-9171 (mono) & VSD-79171 (stereo).
ppint. 10th Nov 2016		CD Album Buffy Sainte-Marie - Fire & Fleet & Candlelight (2004)	added to uk-flagged "ace vanguard masters" as this was the closest pre-existing label choice to what's on the cd & package inserts. a uk-flagged? eu-flagged? world-excluding-usa(-&-canadada?)-flagged vanguard label would probably be better for the whole series. n.b. disc mfd in eu, so a cd of the album's quite likely to've been issued in merkia previously, unless the digital mastering was done by, or commissioned by, ace records. there isn't much data upon the ace vanguard masters's package inserts as relates specifically to the digitally mastered editions and they also do not give the original vanguard recording society's lp cat#s in full, only quoting the numerical parts of the stereo lps' cat#s. "fire & fleet & candlelight", for example, will have seen a mono lp release as VRS-9250 in 6/67 unless the vrs'd abandoned releasing mono counterparts to albums they could release in stereo by then.

ppint. 9th Nov 2016		CD Album Fairport Convention - Rising For The Moon [De Luxe Edition] (2013)	- bought by yr hmbl srppnt. for the "free" entire extra cd recorded live at the troubadour club; it mayn't be a perfect performance, but it is very, very good - and it's one of fairport convention's best (most together, and with sandy denny) line-ups. . . - *happy* (despite last night's megacatastrophe)

ppint. 5th Nov 2016		CD Album Buffy Sainte-Marie - I'm Gonna Be A Country Girl Again (2006)	there may well have been a philips/fontana uk group lp sometime 1968(ish), as cass (&/ big cass?) had this lp, and imports of vanguard recording society vinyl were not exactly common then; but it would either've been on the black uk vanguard lp label with an SVRL-prefixed cat# (or possibly a VSD- prefixed cat#, likely 79280); or - only just possibly - on the black fontana uk lp label and with an STFL-prefixed cat#.

(and i ain't half glad i don't have to determine the point on these in a way both accurate *and* acceptable to those who prefer pictures to words!) (whether wea's parlophone has a fixed length of time after which they have to pay universal more to continue to use the disc design, or else adopt some new artwork, for those albums by artists whose catalogue they took over that emi ltd had placed on the harvest list...) (- i'm sure it'll've been covered in the sale's contract small print somewhere, but whether it's ever publicly announced...)
ppint. 30th Oct 2016		CD Album Kevin Ayers - The Confessions Of Dr Dream And Other Stories (2014)	yr hmbl srppnt.'s not at all sure this ~2014 reissue by wea/warner music group shouldn't be labelled & flagged parlophone (records ltd.) & yeurrp, as the copyrights and live music corpses logoes on the packaging & disc are in that name, and the harvest label no longer exists as an independently-managed subsidiary°: the recreation of the harvest design on the disc is really just being employed as nostalgia-inspiring eye-candy. 1/11/16 edit: harvest no longer exists as an independently-managed subsidiary of parlophone records/ wea/warner music group, whose cds these kevin ayers reissues from ~2014 on are, that is; ° as philmh has intimated, it is a living label of the universal music group - though with, it would appear, none of the catalogue of recordings originally released by emi records/emi ltd/the gramophone co. ltd on lps, eps & singles on the harvest label (which this particular album wasn't).
