The Down To Earth Album is one of his finest. ooops forgot to add: Your Jits & Mine: Chubby Sings: Kissin' Time, We Got Love, Volare, Wild One. Bobby Sings: The Twist, Pony Time, The Hucklebuck, Let's Twist Again. What A Combination: a Medley- A Rockin' Good Way (To Mess Around And Fall In Love) Love Is Strange & Let The Good Times Roll
spreadjoy 3rd Aug 2014		CD Album Chubby Checker - Limbo Party	Original Recordings Made In Italy - oh yeah! Two remarkable albums by Chubby. Getting away from the usual hits, these two albums have some pretty well executed classics. These albums are on a par with two other outstanding LPS. Down To Earth with Dee Dee Sharp & with Sy Oliver (oh to have that in stereo, I'd give my left leg, Oh! maybe my left arm Oh! forget it)
spreadjoy 3rd Aug 2014		CD Album Chubby Checker - Teen Twisters Only	Original Recordings. Made in Italy, ummmm doubt it. Track 25 (Hooka Tooka) does not appear on the vinyl LP, but it made a lot of sense to include it here. A close listen to both Hooka Tooka's, shows just slight but delightful difference, particularly the key change with the acoustic guitar toward the start of the track. All tracks Stereo except for: 3, 5, 7
spreadjoy 2nd Aug 2014		CD Album Chubby Checker - Twist With	Original Recordings. I have listed Unknown Country simply because IRAQ is not listed in the Countries List. This CD was not manufactured in IRAQ, I stand corrected, I would place it in Europe somewhere, the others I have state, Italy. Track 25 was not on the 'For Twisters Only' Album (Parkway P7002-1960) in fact it was on "Twistin' Round The World" (Parkway P7008-1962) (sung partly in French) Still and all, a wonderful CD.

spreadjoy 2nd Aug 2014		CD Album Chubby Checker - All The Hits For Your Dancin' Party, Vol. 2 (1995)	Original Recordings (Some in True Stereo) When this CD was purchased in Sydney, it was extremely expensive as prices went at that time $AU42.95. It was worth every single cent. An absolutely wonderful CD for any true Chubby Checker fan. The is one glaring Song writer error, Kal-Mann (Kal Mann real name Kalmann Cohen), Sheldon was also Kal Mann, using his sons first name (Sheldon Cohen). There are 2 songs from his European Career #21 & 25 (Great Stuff) never released in the US. This is Vol 2. Check out Col 1.

spreadjoy 14th Apr 2014		CD Album Chubby Checker - The Very Best Of The K-Tel Recordings (2001)	Because original Cameo-Parkway material was not re-issued widely, Chubby Checker recorded most of his hits for K-Tel in the 1970s. These recordings have appeared on over 40 different labels around the world, mostly pirate. These usually sold from $4.99 to $15.00, they ranged from 8 track CD to 20 Track CDs, not to mention Cassettes. These recordings (I UNDERSTAND) have been re-mixed for his TEEC Recordings through his own office starting around 2005.
