tf40408 21st Mar 2018		CD Album Cream - Live Cream (1986)	My copy is identical to this except the label is RSO. Same catalog number and barcode. Made in West Germany on the disc.

tf40408 21st Mar 2018		CD Album Def Leppard - On Through The Night (1988)	As great as the rest of Def Leppard's catalog is, it is a huge surprise to listen to this album. Very weak material here. The next album "High 'N Dry" is superb, as well as "Pyromania" and, of course "Hysteria" is flawless. This album is really not worth having, except to complete a collection.
tf40408 21st Mar 2018		CD Album Various Artists - More Dirty Dancing (1990)	My copy (not a CD club edition but a regular store release) had track 1 listed as "Baby's Walk" instead of "Time Of My Life (Instrumental)" like is shown here. Also, Track 15 on mine copy is titled "Lifts In The Lake Theme (Finale)" The tracks runs at the same running time, so I can only assume same tracks just had a name change. Would be interested in finding out which version was first...Would anyone think that these 2 track title changes would warrant a separate entry? Otherwise the catalog number is the same although the barcode is slightly different.

tf40408 9th Mar 2018		CD Album Firehouse - Firehouse (1990)	This album was a late entry into the "Hair Band" genre. Had it been released, say, 1987 or 1988 I think it would have been more commercially successful because it stands firm in quality beside other "Hair Band" classics like Slaughter "Stick It To Ya", Cinderella "Long Cold Winter" and even Motley Crue "Dr. Feelgood". If you are a 80's rock fan, this is a must-have album.

tf40408 25th Jan 2018		CD Album Steve Perry - Street Talk (1984)	Yes U.S. release, the CD above I am holding in my hand right now and the image above has been cropped to close, but if you look at the bottom rim about the 7'o clock position you can see the top of the Columbia "walking eye" box that is printed on the rim just before the words "Manufactured In U.S.A."...most likely at Columbia Terre Haute Indiana. When Nig31el cropped his image he cropped this wording and the remainder rim of the CD from the image.

One of the rare albums you put on and every song is so great you don't even think about skipping anything. This is in my top 5 favorite albums of all time...and I am not really what you would call a rap fan, so that is saying something.

Same catalog number and same barcode...2003 date is wrong. Just saying...
tf40408 20th Jan 2018		CD Album Soundgarden - Superunknown (1994)	This album is so great that I have had it for 22 years now and have never yet been able to listen to the whole album all the way through non-stop. Every song is so unique and chilling that I find myself repeating each track several times before advancing to the next one, and the fact that this is a LONG album...over 70 minutes...you need a whole day devoted to just listening to this album in order to get all the way through it! Easily this is on my "Desert Island" albums list.
tf40408 19th Jan 2018		CD Album Stone Temple Pilots - Purple (1994)	I agree with Magic Marmalade, although I felt this way immediately after buying it in 1994 as opposed to re-visiting this 20 years later. This is the most listenable and enjoyable of all the "grunge" albums, and the ones Magic referenced are "THE" holy-grail of "grunge". Of the holy grail, "Purple" ranks #1, Soundgarden "Superunknown" is #2, Pearl Jam "Ten" is #3 and, sorry folks, Nirvana "Nevermind" comes in last. FWIW, I rather prefer STP's next release "Tiny Music" to anything by Nirvana as well. If you can only own 3 albums from the 90's, make it "Purple", "Superunknown" and "Ten".
tf40408 15th Jan 2018		CD Album Traveling Wilburys - Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 (1988)	I realize the disc pictured here has promotional copy not for sale printed on it, but my copy is identical to this entry in everyway except the promotional copy language, so the classification of this entry should not be promo only, as a promo is usually a different coupling than a stock copy, this is just a regular issue CD that happens to have the promotional jargon stamped on it.
tf40408 10th Jan 2018		CD Album Various Artists - Feel Good 80s (2009)	All The composer info is printed inside the CD tri-fold underneath the clear plastic tray for CD1, in very tiny writing. The size of the print, coupled with the varying heights of the plastic CD tray (which is not removable) makes this old man unable to read well enough to list here. My apologies.
