Two-track CD single in a slimline case.

Anna Julia is taken from Jim Capaldi's eleventh solo album Living On The Outside which features George Harrison, Steve Winwood, Paul Weller, Gary Moore and Ian Paice. George Harrison played guitar on Anna Julia, an English translation of a song by the Brazilian band Los Hermanos.

In his brilliant book The Music of George Harrison: While My Guitar Gently Weeps (2003, Firefly Publishing) Simon Leng writes:

[George] is back on home ground with Capaldi's notably Beatlish version of a classic Brazilian song, "Anna Julia". As well as Harrison's guitar, Capaldi recorded Beatles harmonies direct from 1964, and his own startling vocal was eratz John Lennon.
