Wesco83 26th Oct 2018		Discogs is wrong, not strictly a Dutch release, if these were strictly Dutch releases the manufacturing code would have the Dutch country code (the first number is the indicator for the country of release). 01 is European (meaning no specific country of release). If it was Dutch the manufacturing code on the release would be 17-656968-14, this is not the case for these releases as I will list above. BIEM/STEMRA are companies chosen to control royalties and can be an indicator for example MCPS is noted on many U.K. releases but this can't be always 100% like it was noted below.



nboldock 5th Mar 2014		STEMRA on its own usually indicates The Netherlands, however BIEM/STEMRA is usually an indicator that it is actually a "European" release. None of which is the case 100% of the time, just to make matters even more uncertain!



nboldock 17th Jan 2014		In fairness, Discogs don't use the same criteria as us (or don't implement in the same way) and many, many releases are classified by country of manufacture rather than country of release.
