Glad to to help! Originally I used to post cropped front cover images but my preference is for the lead image to be un-cropped . I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way but that's the way I intend to continue. The reason being is, they are printed in the format I upload and I'm not keen on making alterations. I particularly don't like an image of the spine uploaded as a separate image a la Discogs. Neither do I like the barcode/spine to be uploaded as part of the inner cover...wrong! And now I'll get off my soapbox lol
Just wanted a "true colour image to lead, and be consistent with the other images... and since you had this, and were in the mood, I thought I'd be cheeky and ask for the moon, as well as the stars :)
It seems we are generally going this route, as per the cropped (un-barcoded) images leading, as people prefer them, for prettiness and consistency in discography pages: uniformity of presentation. Not a site requirement really, but more of an unconscious, spontaneous consensus (try saying that when you're drunk! :) among contributors.
I've added a cropped image which the cd ripper I use calls 'folder' for some reason when it adds the image to the id3 tag. I think that's what you asked for? I normally don't upload cropped images because I prefer them 'as is' but if I've got it wrong just let me know
Both the j-card and the CD are a bright orange that my scanner couldn't cope with. I've uploaded the images until, hopefully, someone with a better scanner can replace them.
