Charity CD single with all proceeds going to Jubilee Action in aid of Brazilian street children, who often receive beatings from the police or members of the public, and can also face imprisonment, malnutrition, disease and AIDS. Estimates on the number of children living and working on the streets of Brazil vary from 200,000 to 8 million. Most of Brazil's street children expect to be killed before they are 18.

Paul McCartney donated use of his studio, Hog Hill Studio (aka The Mill), for some elements of the recording, and reads a narrative and sings at the end. The man doing the policeman's voice is Peter Kirtley, then Paul reads.

The tracks were mastered in the wrong order so on the CD it is actually track 2 that is the version with Paul.
