gregs45s SUBS 24th Sep 2016		"This CD was a limited issue to accompany sales of DVD box-sets of the BBC TV series "The Office".On the first track Ricky Gervais performs as his David Brent character,singing "If You Don't Know Me By Now".The issuing of this CD in real life mimics David Brent releasing the single in one of "The Office" episodes.The second track "Freelove Freeway"is an acoustic track and features Noel Gallagher on backing vocals (uncredited)."

In 2001, fortune will allow him to finish what he started. Firstly, a documentary on his working life will re-introduce the public to the likes of My Sweet Princess, Equality Street and The Serpent Who Guards The Gates Of Hell. Secondly, he will be made redundant, allowing him to found Juxtaposition Records and finance his single - a version of Simply Red's If You Don't Know Me By Now. An adventurous direction that misfires and causes Brent to step out of the limelight again. .....this Friday [15 March, on Comic Relief] will see Brent reveal a new youth-oriented music project, while visiting the songs that so nearly made him a star.
