 @GEMSMFAN: That was over a month ago and I've made a full recovery.

 @ Beggars Road.. how many horses have you led to water, so far.... ? AND how about "her" (a female horse)... will she drink? What are you "spent" on?

 @TheJudge: "You can lead a horse to water but, you can't make him drink..."

I'm spent.

 All that you are talking about is a marketing tool. That's very different to a generic categorisation, which is what we're dealing with here.

 @TheJudge: Not in the USA.

 Because 'CD3' is the option for the third disc of a multi-disc set, is why.

 @TheJudge: If that is the point then why are there options for both CD3's and 3" - delete one of them and the drop-down box gets shorter by one.

 Point is, they are 3" CDs. If we followed marketing-speak we'd have a drop-down box for formats which would stretch off screen all the way down to the floor.

 @GEMSMFAN: I believe your definition of CD3 in relation to 3" CD to be inaccurate.

"When Mini CDs were first introduced in the United States, they were initially marketed as CD3, in reference to their approximate size in inches; larger CDs were called CD5, despite the fact that both CD specifications are defined solely in terms of metric units. Now, they are known as either Mini CDs or 80 mm CDs."

The above quotation was taken off a Wikipedia page and I as I best can recall I believe it to be correct as it pertains to marketing said 'mini-disc's' in the USA in 1988.

It could be diff in the UK - but my entry is a USA CD3/3" - the same thing.

 Format is: 3" CD,
not CD3, which is for a 3rd CD single in a series release
the U.S. released no CD3's OR CD2's. I think that was done in the UK mainly.
