Taken from his re-release of The Hunting Of The Snark Mike Batt releases As Long As The Moon Can Shine with lead vocals by Art Garfunkel. The re-release is to mark Mike's 40th year as a successful songwriter, composer and musician. The ambitious album The Hunting Of The Snark is based on Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem of the same name. Batt added lyrics and music around Carroll's verse to create a truly singular musical experience (including the Captain Sensible-sung The Snooker Song which later became the theme tune for popular TV show Big Break). This CD [[i]The Hunting Of The Snark[/i]] features the original studio recording of the album with a heavyweight cast of Art Garfunkel, Roger Daltry, George Harrison, Stephane Grappelli, Sir John Gielgud, John Hurt, Deniece Williams, Julian Lennon, Sir Cliff Richard and the London Symphony Orchestra.
