Fountains Of Wayne present the second single from their acclaimed album Sky Full Of Holes. Having made a mark on the mainstream in 2003 with the sophomoric Stacy's Mom, their latest album sees them in more contemplative mood but having lost none of their prolific talent for lyric or melody.

SPIN Magazine have already listed Sky Full Of Holes as one of their "24 Summer Albums That Matter Most" and Rolling Stone described it as a "beautiful summer album, full of FOW's trademark tunefulness, clever wordplay and pop smarts".

Fresh off successful live performances on Letterman and Jimmy Fallon in the States, the band are preparing for a European tour in early November [2011], playing London's Scala on November 9th and Manchester's Club Academy on November 11th. On A Road Song, lead singer Chris Collingwood staves off the boredom of journeying between gigs by penning his beloved the song in question; a song that evokes all the remoteness of a lonely highway somewhere between Wisconsin and Chicago. A Road Song is out in November on Lojinx.
