 Black Star Riders were formed in December 2012 when members of the 2012 line-up of Thin Lizzy decided to record new material, but chose not to release it under the Thin Lizzy name.

I always had a soft spot for Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. I had a few singles but no albums, and then recently bought a CD greatest hits compilation - great music.

I first heard Black Star Riders and Bound For Glory on the [UK radio station] BBC Radio 2 and thought it sounded so close to the original Thin Lizzy sound (no bad thing), and then discovered the background to the group.

This is a great track in the Thin Lizzy mould. I haven't heard the album yet (All Hell Breaks Loose), but if you like Thin Lizzy sit back and enjoy this song.
