 POCD 920 is definitely a UK catalogue number - so this should be a UK issue, despite it having the BIEM and STEMRA labelling
887525-2 is the Eurpean cat. no. - so I would suspect this is a generic release also intended for sale across Europe without having to edit the sleeve or disc graphics.
Quite a lot of Polydor CD singles from this time were produced in a similar way - I also have a copy of Bob Geldof's "Love Like A Rocket" from about the same time which was definitely bought by me in a UK shop, but has all the European identifiers and dual catalogue numbering.

Unfortunately record companies are international organisations so will produce generic releases that can be sold anywhere in a similar region causing confusion as to where it was intended for sale

 nowhere does it state "Germany". This clearly looks like, The Netherlands... this is stated as the copyright and the disc label has STEMRA (the Dutch rights society, as Germany would be GEMA)
