 This release was available in several different leather pouches - apart from this brown one there was a black one and a cream one, possibly more.

 Ha ha.

I wonder if it's the chemicals in the Leather pouch from the tanning process (Oooh, get me and my one piece of knowledge of leather... oo-er!)...

This is a unique method of packaging I should think... certainly never seen any other CDs in Leather pouches. So makes me wonder if many of this release survive intact if the leather is the culprit.

Certainly, If anyone else has one still playable, they may want to pop the CD in a plastic CD sleeve before returning it to the pouch, to be on the safe side.
