 I'm not going to argue - life's too short. Will make promo only. But I don't shy away from my point about barcodes.

 Pomegranate, where do you get this idea from? Barcodes were added to all product systematically by some companies. It allowed scanning for stock control but not necessarily for sales. My source is the MD of Tara, John Cook who told me himself that CD singles were never commercially available and what is more, every single copy of any CD single I have ever seen had a promo stamp either on the packaging or CD itself. After about 30 years of examining, collecting, researching and first hand contact with people during this research, I trust my own experience over your assertion that the presence of the barcode proves it was a stock copy not a promo...

 "This was never available commercially as a CD single. All CD singles issued by Tara were only ever used as promotional items to promote the album."

Why is there a barcode then? Barcodes were only used for stock copies, not promos.
