Dr Doom SUBS 26th Nov 2015		CD Single The Coral - Shadows Fall (2001)	As can be seen from the 3rd image this single may be dated 2000 but it didn't actually get released until 9th July 2001. This is supported by the Wiki page on this single.

Dr Doom SUBS 15th Dec 2012		CD Single The Flaming Lips - Race For The Prize (Remix) (1999)	I was thinking that when leonard brought this up. The question is would folks understand to use CD1 only when there is a CD2 - perhaps that is even more confusing!? I think what will happen a lot in the future is that people will enter either CD1 or CD2 not realising that they are part of a CD1/CD2 release. I entered a Hives CD last night and only when checking the release date on discogs did I find out that there was a CD1 to go along with it. In saying all this it's a five second job to change CD to CD1, CD2 or whatever so perhaps I'm worrying over nothing!

If it only says CD2 in notes then you can't tell which is CD1 or CD2 when looking at the artist discography I think it's handy to see at a glance which is CD1 and which is CD2 Any other opinions fellow mods? I'll check your mod powers now leonard, you may have to log out and log in for them to start working. : )
Dr Doom SUBS 15th Dec 2012		CD Single The Flaming Lips - Race For The Prize (Remix) (1999)	I'd looked into this and CD2 seems to be the term that is used when two CDs are released at the same time (for maximum chart impact) We haven't had any double CDs yet but when we do we may create a new type called 'Double CD' - which should make it clearer. If you scroll down the Madonna CD singles on this specialist CD singles website - you can see how CD2 is used. How else would you suggest doing it? Always happy to hear suggestions.

We're no longer entering them as database items as eventually the 'offical chrt' people will come and chase us and ask for a big fat cheque. It would be hard for them to ask all of our members to make comments though. (I'll delete this post at a later date)
