Juke Jules SUBS 24th Feb 2018		CD Single Jack Skuller - Love Is A Drum (2010)	Review The promoter's sticker on the rear of the case says "Love Is A Drum - Pop, male vox, Rock, 60s UK Pop feel, melodic, New Jersey" which sums it up nicely. The young Skuller knows his rockabilly and Buddy Holly and may well have listened to 60s UK bands. With blistering Clapton-style guitar breaks, this is a very accomplished band, and the A-side seems to presage JD McPherson. The label is copied from the 45. The "B-side" is a basic ballad.
