plocky45 29th Aug 2014		CD Single Kate Bush - Rocket Man (I Think It's Going To Be A Long, Long Time) (1992)	I think these posts do reflect the difficulties in submitting entries on the basis of good information (per Magic Marmalade comments) . Additionally, I wonder whether there should be other categories added (per Pomegranate's comments). If there is a European category, shouldn't there also be an Asian and/or Australasian category, for example. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to continue such discussions on the forums - this discussion seems highly relevant: https://www.45worlds.com/topic/100665 It seems to be about achieving a balance; the site philosophy appears to be towards simplification and thus the need to avoid overcomplication.

With multiple release countries that include European countries and Australia it seems that this should simply become 'International'.

The file note refers to a French concert and whilst the French release does bear the same catalogue number, it includes live tracks from French concerts. There are also 3 CDs in the French singles set.

plocky45 20th Aug 2014		CD Single Belinda Carlisle - Live Your Life Be Free (1991)	Taking account of the site policy towards simplicity, I would say the general rule was to combine entries with an identical cat. no and bar code. (Where there are clear differences - e.g. a USA long box, exceptions could and are made). In this particular case, the UK & Australia entries look to be identical, and the designation for country of entry should be based on release information. With respect to Pomegranate, these are just my thoughts - I don't know whether I am interpreting site policy correctly; any other input would be much appreciated. Thanks
plocky45 20th Aug 2014		CD Single Belinda Carlisle - Live Your Life Be Free (1991)	With some of the international entries, particularly under albums, the first release date is entered, but other variations/later issues under the same cat. no and bar code are added under the same entry. In this case ,the person entering the CD under UK release probably wouldn't have an inkling of its release elsewhere. Perhaps a poster, identifying an additonal release territory, can add a note/comment to that effect (with different release date, if known) and request the entry becomes 'International' / 'Europe', as appropriate.

I suppose the question is where the CD was released. If this was released in Australia and wasn't an import, presumably the two entries could be combined under International.

plocky45 7th Aug 2014		CD Single P!nk - Get The Party Started (Radio Mix) (2002)	I've added the bar code for 743219133823, which relates to cat. no. 74321 91338 2, but notice that the other cat. no: 74321 904632 has a different bar code, 74321 904632; in other words, we have different cat. nos, different bar codes and different designs - presumably these should be two different entries. I suspect 7243 91338 2 is targeted at the UK market, because there is an additional UK website referenced on the insert rear.

The EMI issue is perhaps not so straightforward and we have, for example, EMI USA [UK]!
