alexlincs 28th May 2023		Cinema Outland (1981) (1981)	@ Magic Marmalade I agree criminally underrated as a Sci-Fi, an action film or as a Sean Connery film. I only found out about it after someone recommended me it. It didn't do big business at the box office, but made profit about 1 million profit. I saw it as being Dirty Harry in space.

I remember seeing it advertised and thought it would be something I would enjoy, it came out at the right time after Dumb and Dumber, but for some reason critics hated it, but they praised cack like Shakespeare In Love.

alexlincs 11th Aug 2022		Cinema Requiem For A Village (1976) (1976)	I don't think it's unfair to describe this as a mutant version of The Wicker Man in terms of style. It's incredibly bizarre, no wonder it was nearly lost. It's rated 18 in the UK due to two particularly nasty rapes.
