This is feature length so I included it. imdb has release dates for UK, Netherlands and Sweden which suggest some kind of cinema showing before it's appearance on the small screen. It's often the case that something like this will get a one off screening at a film festival in advance of it's TV broadcast. imdb class it as a film and that's as 'authoritative' as things can be I guess....

I know for a fact that I watched this in 1997 though it may have been on TV (I can't recall). So the origins may have been a TV documentary followed by at theatrical release but I'm sticking by the 1996 date for finished production.
