Dr Doom SUBS 29th Apr 2015		Rated 7/10 An entertaining documentary looking at the gangs of 70s New York, mainly set around the South Bronx which at that time 'looked like post WW2 Dresden'. It's hard to imagine that this vision of a ruined and bankrupt New York is the same city as the post-Giuliani economically booming Metropolis we have today. The documentary was inspired by a 1977 article for Esquire magazine - 'Savage Skulls' by Jon Bradshaw which surely also inspired the cult classic The Warriors. I've only given this 7/10 as although I really enjoyed it, I really wish it had been a bit longer (67minutes) and gone into things a bit deeper but perhaps I'm nitpicking.
