The heroism of the Tuskegee Airmen, the Nurse Corps, the Red Ball Express, the 92nd Infantry Division, and the 761st Tank Battalion are given their due, with personal tributes by Colin Powell, and comments from President Bill Clinton. There are interviews and recollections of the soldiers themselves, as they recount their harrowing moments in battle, and discuss the racism they faced while they were risking their lives for their country.
