YankeeDisc SUBS 9th Jun 2016		This movie has been shown a few times on freeview TV in the UK, and I finally caught it, what a treat, an adult film for adult people. All the the actors are top drawer, but I single out Julie Kavner as Nurse Eleanor Costello, a lonely woman whose life appears to be only the hospital where she works looking after people that everyone wants to forget. Lets not forget that Ms. Kavner's main gig for the last two decades has been voicing Marge Simpson on that show, The Simpsons. Lastly for all you Jazz buffs (that's me, folks) Dexter Gordon himself has a cameo appearance.......mmmm, nice one. He passed the same year, 1990, silencing his saxophone forever.. It's nearly as good as tt0117887 "That Thing You Do!", with Tom Hanks as director where he has Jazz drumming legend Alphonse Mouzon in a cameo (as a jazz drummer).......sweet.
