nboldock 7th Jul 2015		Low budget independent zombie flick directed by, and starring, Dominic Brunt - also known as Emmerdale's hapless vet Paddy Kirk. This has pretty atrocious reviews on IMDB and suchlike, yet I think some of the reviews are a little harsh, to be honest. The movie needs to be looked at in context - it's a very low budget indie film put together by a first time director - were it not for the fact he happens to be a well-known TV actor (and zombie film fanboy) this movie probably wouldn't have attracted so much (relative) attention in the first place. Sure the acting is questionable, and the script isn't the stuff of awards either, but I personally enjoyed watching the film - I like the fact that you hardly see any zombies and that you never really know how many there are. I also liked the fact that the zombies you DO see are crazed maniacs - none of the slow, lumbering Walking Dead types here... I saw it on the Horror Channel - I dare say they'll show it again at some point - give it a go, it's really not that bad...
