nboldock ● 21st Apr 2015		Extremely violent, and frequently very disturbing, Ghosts... is probably not to everyone's tastes to say the least. Nick Cave's maniacal portrayal of psychopath Maynard is absolutely terrifying, though despite his lead billing (for obvious reasons) he doesn't actually appear until the second half of the movie. A challenging and experimental film, it isn't easy to get hold of in the UK (though I bought my DVD copy from Australia via the net, for a reasonable price) but it's worth the effort for those with a liking for extreme cinema. Just make sure the kids are in bed before you put it on. Cave co-wrote the screenplay and also the excellent soundtrack.
