carryonsidney ● 24th Apr 2016		This film is part of trilogy, sort of, If, Oh Lucky Man & Britannia Hospital basically comprises the life story of Roddy McDowells character Micheal (Mick) from begininng to end. Britannia Hospital was on telly last night havent seen it in years..



zabadak 18th Apr 2016		Rated 9/10 One of my all-time favourite films! Often wilfully obscure, the set-pieces in this film are just brilliant! Soooo English! Not British, English! From the deliciously Tom-Brownish public school Hell, through the later liberation (including the café seduction scene(!) to the explosive denouement, there is a wonderful late-sixties, increasingly hallucinogenic feel to the whole epic journey that I found appealing right from the first time I saw it. Apparently, the whole film was supposed to be shot in colour but the budget ran out! :happy: 4 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
