nboldock 20th May 2015		Haha :-D I actually watched it at school when we studied Macbeth at GCSE level, and of course the sight of Lady Macbeth's naked derriere provoked much puerile sniggering...



biffbampow 20th May 2015		I saw this in a film theatre in around 1991/1992 and recall it being a very grim experience almost derailed at the very start. I've told this story a few times over the years but it's worth repeating since it was a funny moment. I went to see it with an ex-mate who had spent the mid 70's to late 80's living on a different continent. Anyway, the film starts and the credits are going along. The name of the final actor to be listed faded up onscreen and the entire theatre - including myself and excluding my mate - burst into laughter! After the film was over, we got outside and my mate asked the burning question "Why did everybody laugh during the opening credits?" I then did some quick mental arithmetic and realised he'd not lived in the UK whilst this certain person who caused the mirth had risen and fallen... how on Earth could I explain the one and only Keith Chegwin to him?
