Notes

The story of Samson, who falls in love with Zorah, a Philistine, and marries her, despite Manoah’s (her father) objection. This version of Samson was based on the biblical Old Testament Book of Judges, XIII-XVI. The film is credited as cinema’s first biblical film.

Six reeler
Extras such as Harold Lloyd and Hal Roach were payed $5 dollars a day and most working for two straight weeks. Harold also served as a makeup man for this film.
