zabadak 5th Jun 2021		Rated 9/10 Oh yes, I liked this! A recent haunted house movie that works! Yes, it owes its lunch money to The Exorcist but moves away from that source with style, while refusing to sink to predictability. Special effects are minimal but nicely done. The ideas are sound and interesting. The gradual escalation of terror has a dark, menacing grace and no-one is safe! The acting of the key protagonist, the young daughter, is spot-on: scary without resorting to parody. I hope Lulu Wilson becomes a real star because that is within her grasp!
