jaimeeduardo 8th Nov 2015		Review A musical biography of Mexican songwriter Álvaro Carrillo (1921-1969). Singer José José, in a rare film role, plays the title role convincingly. Carmen Salinas is the tough as nails madam presiding over a famous bordello of the era where Carrillo struggles with the conflicts between family life and the bordello high life. A good cast plus some fine songs (Sabor a mí probably the best known) make for a film sure to please the intended audience.
