YankeeDisc SUBS 21st Feb 2017		Shown regularly on a UK freeview channel..................thought I would watch it as Van Johnson was in it......playing a German soldier, son of a General, who with a squad impersonate US G.I.'s to create havoc behind allied (enemy) lines. Totally forgettable, instead see Van Johnson in his 1949 outing "Battleground" tt0041163, where he is a member of 101st Airborne re-enacting the December 1944 battle for Bastogne, where his division was surrounded by a much larger German army, and fighting for their lives in the snow.
