zabadak 21st Jun 2017		English follows the path of least resistance. For example, expect "th" to disappear and be replaced by "f" and "v". Think -> Fink Bother -> Bovver Etc. :sad:



Magic Marmalade 20th Jun 2017		I think it's about time we overthrew the "rules", and simplified the English language even further... ...let's create: "The Commoner's English", or just: "Common English" (after all, they let any old guff in the Oxford now!) George Slv 19th Jun 2017		Funny y'should mention that zabadak. I've been having my own experience lately trying to write wierd on the web. I was surprised to learn.



zabadak 16th Jun 2017		OK, I'm a grammar/spelling/punctuation/etc. nerd, I admit it! You know the rule "I before E except after C", right? Well, that is no longer taught in schools as there are too many exceptions. Why do I mention this now? This film has two words in the title and both break the rule in opposite ways. If the rule were correct in all cases, the film should be called Wierd Sceince! I know! :shocked:
