Münchener Bach-Chor - BiographyHeinrich-Schütz-Kreis was founded in the post-war period by Wilhelm Kamlah who was succeeded by Professor Michael Schneider, to promote the performance of the music of Heinrich Schütz. In 1951 the choir came under the leadership of conductor and organist Karl Richter and in 1954 the choir was renamed Münchener Bach-Chor to perform a wider repertoire from the Baroque to the contemporary. « Back to Discography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
