George Slv 18th Sep 2015 | | Classical ItemOrchestre De Chambre "Pro Arte" De Munich - Autour Du Celebre Canon De Pachelbel (1966) | This Pachelbel Canon is not the same recording as on Airs Et Adagios Baroques.
See the back cover for better information on the pieces.

George Slv 9th Aug 2015 | | Classical ItemMinneapolis Symphony Orchestra, Antal Dorati - The Pines Of Rome / The Fountains Of Rome (1980) | I don't know what the original 1963 cover was, I don't think it was the same.
Also be careful about their 1953 similar recording.
Now this is my favorite recording of Fountains. The audio tracks clearly capture the surging water and other effects.

George Slv 25th Feb 2015 | | Classical ItemVienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Lorin Maazel - Sibelius Symphony No.2 (1963) | PhilMH, it's correct on 45worlds to do that. To me it's worse to have extra listings.

George Slv 3rd Oct 2014 | | Classical ItemLondon Symphony Orchestra, Antal Dorati - Respighi: The Birds / Brazilian Impressions (1973) | A reissue of the original from about 1960. Quite a story about reissues. They were not "Living Presence" anymore (whatever that meant). A copy I got made in Holland got wrecked as soon as I played it once - recycled vinyl of some kind. Called Golden Imports or some variation.
Now there's an audiophile vinyl reissue which is anything but audiophile. It sounds like it was made from a tape that was made from a vinyl. Dull sound.

George Slv 25th Aug 2014 | | Classical ItemLondon Symphony Orchestra, Antal Dorati - Respighi: The Birds / Brazilian Impressions (1962) | There is/was a nice CD of this which I have. A commenter at Amazon.com said his (Dorati's?) widow made it from her tape. So this would be the tape?
This may be my favorite classical recording of all (Braz Impr). I have several LPs and I've been disappointed at the unacceptable used quality.
